The IRB committee will meet monthly from September to May. During the summer, the committee will meet on an as needed basis.
Exempt reviews and expedited reviews will be done weekly.
All applications must be submitted to the IRB Administrator.

Additional Resources
- Web-based training program for research with human subjects: Beginning September 1, 2008, the Salem State College Institutional Review Board will offer training on the protection of human research participants for all investigators submitting protocols for review. This training through the CITI program is optional for research conducted between fall 2008 through summer 2009. The social and behavioral modules chosen by the College's IRB provide coverage of the ethical principles and procedures for conducting human subject research. Biomedical modules and other modules of interests are also available. Please be advised that effective September 1, 2009, the Institutional Review Board will require this training and documentation of its completion.
