"Textual and Photographic Representations of Attachment in a Minimalistic Tunisia"

Continuing to work on Tunisian female authors’ post-revolutionary literary production, Professor Rocca analyzes Dora Latiri’s literary piece, Un amour de tn (2013). In order to counteract historical, political, environmental, and individual exploitation, oppression, and destruction, Rocca argues, Latiri revisits the meaning of attachment by presenting a collection of literary and photographic fragments drawn from encounters, relationships, and fleeting connections. From this assortment of minimalist reflections and memories an intimate and poetic representation of life and its intricacies is developed.
