Student Employment Fair

Come learn about on- and off-campus, part-time, internship and volunteer opportunities. This is a virtual event held online in Handshake- registration is required and students must sign up for time slots to meet with specific employers for Group or 1:1 sessions.

BBQ Bash

Kick of Labor Day weekend with some good ole' BBQ food! No additional charge for students with a meal plan. Students who do not have a meal plan have the option of purchasing this meal at Marsh Dining Hall.

Take and Make - Rock Painting
Tuesday, September 15, 2020, 10 am-4 pm, O'Keefe Complex Parking Lot
This semester is gonna ROCK! Sign-up to receive your DIY Take and Make Metallic Rock Decorating Kit! Once you have signed up, you will need to come to the O'Keefe Complex on Tuesday, September 15th from 10-4pm. A face mask must be worn to pick up your kit. Once you have your kit, you can join your friends for some social distancing FUN!

Residence Life: HOT SEAT

Take some time to Chill Out! Residence Life will supply a bamboo plant, vase, and rocks to plant your own relaxation plant. Residential Students can also pick up a gourmet desert from their front desk during this program.

LGBTQIA+ Community Mixer

Join LEAD for our second annual LGBTQIA+ Community Mixer! All members of the campus community are welcome to join, where students will be able to celebrate the start of the semester while making connections with peers, staff, faculty, and administration.

Resume Review Night

Calling all Accounting and Finance students, submit their resume in advance and sign up for a Zoom meeting with either EY or Edelstein & Company to prepare for Meet the Firms Night. This is a great opportunity to learn techniques on how to make your resumé stand out from the competition and receive valuable feedback on your resumé in a virtual setting.

As we approach a national election, navigate a pandemic, and respond to racial injustice in our country, we can often we surrounded by various messages on our social media. Join this virtual discussion where we will discuss how to be an activist during the social media era, share resources, and get to know new causes!

International Cooking - Spice Kit

Campus Life and Recreation has partnered with local spice artisan Salem Spice to offer students custom spice blends from around the world. Sign up for this event and receive your spice kit shipped directly to you. Included in your kit are some suggested recipes, or create your own, then share your recipes, pictures, history, and source.

Meet the Firms Night

Calling all Accounting and Finance students, pre-register to attend the virtual Meet the Firms Night event on Handshake. Select group or one-on-one virtual meeting sessions with employers who are looking to hire you for internships, part-time and full-time opportunities in accounting and finance!

Monthly LGBTQIA+ Dialogue

Join LEAD in our Monthly LGBTQIA+ Dialogue series! Once a month, we will be discussing topics relevent to the LGBTQIA+ experience with faculty, staff, and students. September's topic will center around Navigating College as an LGBTQIA+ Student. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Join Kyia Watkins from At Peace Arts for an amazing evening of thought, introspection, and art as we discuss the multiple 'colors' that blend to form each unique individual. Each student will receive supplies and will create an 11x14 masterpiece that captures who they are.

Leadership Institute Week 1
Wednesday, October 7, 2020, 4:30-6:30 pm
In this 6 week course students will explore the 7C's of Social Change as well as the Social Change model in depth through through lessons, discussions, reflections and activities. The student must attend all 6 weeks to earn credit.
