Join the Viking Volunteer Van

Volunteer opportunities are available in our community. Students who volunteer regularly during the semester can earn academic credit!

You can pick any day of the week Monday through Thursday to volunteer at any of the non-profits listed below, and free transportation is provided.

Schedules and Sites

Monday-Thursday, 2-4 pm

Van picks you up at 1:30 pm at Central Campus bus stop (to be at the volunteer site by 2 pm). Sites for this pickup time include: 

Northeast Animal Shelter needs help caring for animals

Lifebridge is looking for help in their thrift store

LEAP for Education help middle and high school students with homework and enrichment activities

Monday-Thursday, 3-5 pm

Van picks you up at 2:30 pm at Central Campus bus stop (to be at the volunteer site by 3 pm). Sites for this pickup time include: 

Boys and Girls Club help students with homework and enrichment activities

Lifebridge is looking for help in their thrift store

Girls Inc., needs volunteers to help with after-school programs for elementary, middle and high school girls
