Professor John McArdle recently presented research “Regional public/private partnerships as entrepreneurial bricolage: Lessons from the United States and France“ to a packed room of international scholars at the Regional Studies Association EC conference in Newcastle, UK. His talk assessed the efficacy of public/private partnership structures on entrepreneurial brownfield redevelopment projects and considered how they might be employed in different national legal frameworks. For more than 50 years the RSA has been the premier learned society for facilitating theoretical development, empirical analysis, and policy debate of issues at the sub-national scale. McArdle teaches in the management department and is also the Faculty Director of the SSU Center for Entrepreneurship.
