Geography Department Participates at AAG 2017 in Boston

Congratulations to the contingent of faculty and students from the geography department at Salem State University who presented their research at the annual Association of American Geographers (AAG) conference in Boston, Massachusetts April 4-9, 2017.

This year’s conference hosted more than 9,000 geographers, GIS specialists, environmental scientists, and other registrants from around the world sharing the very latest in research, policy, and applications in geography, sustainability, and GIScience. Participation and presentation at this conference is an important part of professional development in this discipline, and Salem State’s geography department was well-represented thanks to the hard work of faculty and students and generous support from the geography department, the College of Arts and Sciences and the academic affairs office.
