Faculty Advising Workshops

Prior to the registration-advising period (which begins March 19), the Center for Academic Excellence - Academic Advising office will host several workshops to provide faculty with helpful information for the advising/registration period.This semester we will offer the following:

General advising workshops: review general education requirements, degree tracker, competency requirements, class search and advanced features, double dipping, and hands-on work if time permits.

  • Monday, March 19, 3 pm
  • Tuesday, March 20, 8:30 am
  • Wednesday, March 21, 3:30 pm 
  • Monday, March 26, 9:30 am

Academic standing workshops: review of academic standing, what constitutes negative academic standing and its impacts, repeating courses, how to help the students and what steps to take for improvement.

All workshops will be approximately one hour long - advisors will also be available for additional questions following the workshops. The workshop will be held in the Frederick E. Berry, Ground Level room 21.
