Congratulations to the Center for Academic Excellence TRIO-Upward Bound Program, for receiving two supplemental grants.
The TRIO-Upward Bound Program provides academic services to eligible Lawrence High School students throughout the academic year. In addition, students spend four weeks in the summer residing on campus perusing educational opportunities at Salem State.
The grants were provided through the U.S. Department of Education and The Rogers Foundation. These grants will serve to advance STEM directed initiatives, as well as advanced tutoring and STEM enrichment activities.
Mona Savastano serves as the Salem State University Upward Bound program director.
