University names Judy Cramer director of financial aid
Salem State University announced today the appointment of Judith Cramer as director of financial aid.
Cramer comes to Salem State with a wealth of financial aid experience at different types of institutions and in different capacities. She has previously served as director of financial aid at the following educational institutions: Indiana University—Purdue University in Fort Wayne, Indiana; University of Louisiana at Monroe and Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Medicine. She has also served as assistant director of financial aid at Broward (Florida) Community College, as a counselor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and in various capacities in the financial aid office at the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
Ms. Cramer has been active in national, regional and state professional associations in both membership and leadership capacities. She has demonstrated proven success in improving service under tight budgetary situations. Cramer holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, and a master’s degree in education leadership from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
