Other Campus Transportation Options
In addition to the campus shuttle, Salem State has other options to get around or leave campus:
Zagster Bicycle Sharing Program
Salem State also has a Zagster kiosk on Central Campus next to the bike path. Annual memberships and the first two hours are free for students. There are several additional locations in Salem, including downtown Salem and the MBTA stop. More information is available about this program.
Salem State has the advantage of providing discounted Zipcars memberships to our students, faculty and staff members. There is no application fee and annual fees are greatly reduced.

- You’l need to create a profile (a user name and password) for your personal Zipcar account. Please keep this information as you will need it for future reference. You’ll also need your driver's license and credit card information to create an account.
- You can drive once you're approved and have received your Zipcard (sometimes in as little as a day). If you have any questions, the Zipcar help number is 866.494.7227.
