Summer Student and Guest Campus Housing
Living at Salem State this summer provides you a safe and convenient place to call home while taking classes or interning in the Salem/Boston area.
Salem State’s summer residence halls provide a modern, affordable housing option from late May through mid-August. Housing is limited, so we encourage you to make reservations early.
Summer housing is provided in Atlantic Hall and is available for current degree-seeking students and students enrolled in summer classes.
Students, if you are taking two or more summer classes, housing rates start at $720 per session. Students may be eligible for financial aid for summer housing and classes.
Interested students just need to complete the summer housing application, arrange payment at the Student Navigation Center, and bring their application to the residence life office in Atlantic Hall on Central Campus (71 Loring Avenue) prior to the posted deadline.
Summer students that stay on campus will enjoy all that our historic seaport has to offer. New England charm and hospitality. Historic sites and museums, including one of the nation’s 20 largest collections of art. Restaurants, shopping and waterfront activities. Beaches, parks and scenic areas. All these activities and experiences are just a few of the reasons why Salem State should be your summer destination. And, as our campus is within 15 miles to Boston by car or public transportation, there’s no reason not to stay at Salem State.
