This yoga series is based on Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga, and it is intended to support individuals wherever they are in their healing process. This style of yoga has been shown to help reduce trauma-related symptoms when used alongside talk therapy. Being in therapy is recommended but not required for participation.
Yoga Series Session 1
January 29-February 26, 9:30-10:30 am
- The facilitator will take referrals for the series until January 22, 2020
- No prior yoga experience is necessary
- All are welcome: the series is open to all people regardless of age, gender identity, race, ethnicity, body type, and physical ability.
- The location will be discussed after the screening process.
