The University Band presents their end of semester concert under the direction of professor Mary-Jo Grenfell. 

The program includes: 

Folk Dances by Dmitri Shostakovich
Renaissance Festival and Dances arr. Bruce Pearson
Arabesque by Samuel R. Hazo
“Gypsy Dance” from The Pearl of Iberia by Joseph Hellmesberger Jr./arr. Max Schönherr, trans. Robert J. Ambrose
Prelude, Siciliano, and Rondo by Malcom Arnold/arr. John Paynter
“Aegina and Bacchanalia” from Spartacus by Aram Khatchaturian/arr. Leslie W. Hicken
Mountain Ayre and Wedding Dance by David Holsinger
Dance of the Tumblers by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov/arr. James Curnow
Soul Bossa Nova by Quincy Jones/arr. Johnny Vinson

Admission to this concert is free. Goodwill offerings at the door in support of music major scholarships are welcome.
