Tap Masterclass with Noa Barankin of DrumatiX

Free and open to the public. 

Founder and Artistic Director of DrumatiX, Israeli artist Noa Barankin’s stage credits include touring with Tararam, principal dancer and producer for Tempo Tap Company, and touring actress/dancer in the family musical Power of Wishes, for which she was nominated Best Supporting Actress at the Israeli Children’s Theater Awards 2013.

In Boston, she performed and toured with the Boston Tap Company and Off Beat Tap, until forming DrumatiX in 2017. With her company, she has presented work at Lincoln Center and Symphony Space in NYC and for international clients such as Cisco.

DrumatiX is also on the roster of Young Audiences of MA, leading workshops and performances for K-12 educational programs year-round. Prior to moving to San Diego, Noa was an Assistant Professor of tap dance at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee.

She has taught dance and percussion workshops at Northeastern University, Brandeis University, Middlebury College, and MIT, Southern Vermont Dance Festival, Beantown Tapfest, IVY, and Winchester Foundation for Excellence in Education, and at hundreds of private dance studios and schools.

She has been recognized for her work with her students, receiving National awards at dance competitions. Noa is also a musical theater director, singer/songwriter, and visual artist.
