Gender, race and rebuilding America

Professor Nicole Smith, research professor and Chief Economist of the Center for Education and Work at Georgetown University, will discuss the potential impacts on race/ethnicity, gender and income inequalities of the current bi-partisan proposal that includes a traditional definition of infrastructure, as well as the Biden Administration’s proposals to broaden the definition of infrastructure to include human infrastructure such as education, healthcare, and caregiving for children, elderly and disabled.

The event will take place on Zoom from 9:30-10:30 am on Friday, October 8. Register today.
