President Keenan's Student Forum

Status message

Please note that this event has already occurred.

Hello Vikings!

Although this semester is different from one that any of us have ever experienced—or imagined—and I hope your courses and other campus experiences are going well for you!

I'm holding a virtual open forum for all students and their families and I hope you will attend. This forum will provide updates on how we are keeping our campus safe, including campus COVID-19 testing, and what we’re offering to keep students engaged and successful. We also want to hear from you and learn about your first month of the semester.

Representatives from academic affairs, student life, residence life, the first-year experience office, counseling and health services, technology, campus life and recreation, LEAD, student success programs, diversity and inclusion, and the Student Navigation Center will be available to answer your questions.

Please register to join forum at this link:

So that we can accommodate participation by many of our students and their families, this forum will be held in a webinar format. You will be able to view the webinar and submit questions using the chat feature, which is located at the bottom of the screen. In order to manage such a large group of participants, unfortunately, you will not be able to speak or be seen. From the questions submitted, a team of university staff will ask your questions to the panelists. For those of you who don’t have Zoom already installed, please download it for free from your app store prior to this event. Zoom works equally well on desktops, tablets or mobile devices.

I hope you will join me for this conversation. Please remember to register for this event. Thank you again for your flexibility as we moved to new modalities and implemented new safety measures this fall. I look forward to providing you with updates and hearing from you.

John D. Keenan

[Please note that this is the rescheduled forum event from September 30 and re-registration is not required.]
