Salem State is closely monitoring the coronavirus outbreak. Learn more about our response.
President Keenan will be hosting two, hour-long community forums on Friday, May 29. The first is at noon and the second one will be held at 4 pm. Login information is available in Polaris.
Please join President Keenan and members of the President’s Executive Council to hear the latest updates about the university’s COVID-19 recovery plans, including recommendations from the campus working groups. There will also be an opportunity for you to ask your questions.
We apologize in advance for the timing of this forum, happening so late in the academic year. However, we waited due to important Board of Trustees committee meetings on May 27 so that we can provide you with the most current information.
In order for us to accommodate participation by all of our community members, these forums will be held in a webinar format. This allows us to have up to 1,000 people participate between the two sessions, allowing all faculty and staff members to take part. President Keenan has some updates and information to share, and then the sessions will be open for questions.
Participants will be able to view the webinar and submit questions using the Q and A feature. In order to manage such a large group of participants, unfortunately, you will not be able to speak or be seen. From the questions submitted, a team of people from ITS and marketing will ask the questions of the panelists, which consists of the president, PEC members and those leading the coronavirus response.
For those of you who don’t have Zoom already installed, please download it for free from your app store prior to these forums. Zoom works equally well on desktops, tablets or mobile devices. The Zoom login information is available in Polaris.
