Poison of Choice by William Cunningham

World Premiere

Poison of Choice places the audience inside a graphic novel in a world that reeks of political corruption, sex, murder, addiction, and plenty of moral ambiguity. Author Alan Lubeck is trying desperately to get his mind out of the world of the graphic novel he has created, Terror Cell. He accepts a job from an old friend and finds himself in a world that mirrors that of his graphic novel and soon Alan doesn’t know which world he is in, the real or the imagined. With a splash of the Shakespearean and the flavor of film-noir, Poison of Choice presents a kind of “creative madness.” If you’ve been thinking lately, “Has the world gone mad or is it just me?” this evening of theatre may help you find the answer.

Written and directed by William Cunningham.
