New Student Info Session: Learning Communities

Status message

Please note that this event has already occurred.

Salem State University offers several learning communities for first-year students to sign up for as they start college.

Learning communities consist of two linked courses that students take together as a cohort (meaning the same 20 students are in both classes) around a common topic/theme. Fall 2023 learning communities are identity-based (Men of Color), major-based (Healthcare Studies majors), major/identity-based (Future Teachers of Color), and topic-based (interest in sustainability).

Learn more about the sign-up process and what learning communities are all about. (Note: success coaching is available to only first-time in college, full-time freshmen.)

Register here for this session.
Please note, registration is required 24 hours in advance of the session.
