Fall Family Day

Join current students, parents, families, and the campus community in celebrating the first of three Fall Family Days: Salem State University Fall Family Days September 28, 2019.

Friday, September 27

Gassett After Dark: Blacklight Dodgeball 

8 pm-midnight | Gassett Fitness Center, O’Keefe Complex 

Teams will compete against each other in the glow of blacklight to see who will be the final team standing. Neon t-shirts, neon dodgeballs, shirt paint, body paint, and glow sticks will all be provided, making this a night you won’t want to miss!

The tournament is open to all Salem State students and family members at least 18 years of age with a government-issued photo ID. Join your student on a team or compete on a team of parents and family members against the students. Families must register by Friday, September 14 to participate.

First Year Family Brunch 

11 am | Commons Dining Hall 

All first-year students and families are cordially invited to a special reception in your honor, as we proudly welcome the newest members of the Salem State “family.” Brunch is free for family members, students should bring their ClipperCard with them for this meal.

Glass Studio Demonstrations 

1 pm or 2 pm | Glassworks Studio, Central Campus Enterprise Center 

Have you ever seen glassblowing live? Come to the Glassworks Studio on Central Campus for one of two free demonstrations in the art of glassblowing with art and design professor John Volpacchio. The demo is free but space is limited. Please register online.
