Noa Barankin will lead a workshop full of life and rhythm, titled "The Rhythm Connection" on March 7 in Dance Studio 303.
The workshop will incorporate body percussion, a junkyard items orchestra, and bucket drumming. Participants will explore creative rhythm-making through the use of found items such as egg cartons, tin cans, paper bags (and more!), call-and-response exercises, and explosively energetic drumming with music on buckets.
Staying in the pocket, teamwork, group listening, creativity, and attention to detail are only some of the benefits of this energetic, fun, and unique experience.
*No previous experience necessary. Suitable for movers, musicians, thespians, and anyone who loves connecting with other humans. Hard-soled shoes recommended*
