How COVID was the Impetus for Universal Design for Learning Adoption

In this webinar, Lisa Bibeau, Assistant Dean, Student Success and Disability Services, describes how Salem State University Faculty pivoted when COVID-19 expanded the diversity of learners overnight.

Students struggled to keep up for a variety of reasons; faculty responded by becoming flexible and accommodating in new ways. We will share research that looked at the accidental adoption of UDL strategies as a solution to the shifted learning environment.

This is the first panel of the CRCA/Berry Library 2023 Contemporary Issues Series on disability justice. Each one-hour event will start with a presentation, followed by a Q&A. All are free and open to the public. Reistration is required.
