Ben Gross/Underlying Meanings: Sabbatical Exhibition

February 7 - March 4

Benjamin Gross, a professor in the art + design department at Salem State University in Salem, Massachusetts, earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Delaware and a Master of Fine Arts from Cranbrook Academy of Art. His work has been exhibited in regional, national, and international exhibitions. He is a member of the Boston Printmakers.

Professor Gross's sabbatical exhibition will be on display in the Winfisky Gallery, February 7 - March 4, 2022.  Hours are Monday through Friday, 10 am-4 pm. The gallery is located on the ground floor of the Ellison Campus Center.

  • Artist Talk: Wednesday, February 9, 12:30 pm via Zoom. Advance registration.
  • Reception: Wednesday, February 9, 1:30-3 pm
  • Evening reception: Wednesday, February 16, 6:30-8 pm

If you plan to visit the Winfisky Gallery please note the following about COVID-19 safety on campus: Masks are required indoors on the Salem State campus. Our venue capacities are reduced, please note signage. We ask that you not attend any event if you are feeling unwell. All campus event attendees are expected to follow university policies (including health and safety policies) and posted instructions while at any of our venues.
