Join us for a conversation with photojournalist Louie Palu, who will discuss his project, “Distant Early Warning,” focused on the evolving militarization of the region and its effects on Inuit communities.
Louie Palu is a documentary photographer and filmmaker. He is the recipient of numerous awards and accolades, including a 2022 World Press Photo Award and the Arnold Newman Prize for New Directions in Photographic Portraiture. His work has appeared in National Geographic Magazine, The New York Times, The New Yorker, PBS NewsHour, The Washington Post, and many others.
