Annual Career Fair 2019

Held each year, the Career Fair at Salem State University is career services' premier event with the most employers attending from every industry. First-year students, sophomores, juniors, and seniors are strongly encouraged to attend and take this opportunity to connect with employers looking to hire Salem State talent! Whether you're looking for an internship or a full-time job, the annual Career Fair has opportunities for you.

Resume Prep

Be prepared! Have your resume reviewed by a member of the career services team before the fair. Email your resume to resume@salemstate.edu to get feedback.

Sign up to participate in Resume Review Night on February 21, 2019. Don't miss the opportunity to meet with employers or career services staff and receive feedback on your resume before attending the career fair. Register on Handshake!

How Does the Career Fair Work?

The company's representative will be available to answer questions about jobs in their industry and give suggestions about job opportunities and careers. It is also a chance for many students to talk to professionals about themselves and get some experience in interview-like situations.

Who Can I Meet?

Check out the list of organizations attending this year's career fair below! Be sure to log in to Handshake to register for the event and don't forget to download the Handshake Jobs & Careers app. Check back for more information as additional employers are added!

I’m a first-year student, can I meet with an upperclass student mentor for help navigating the fair?

Check in at the First Year Experience (FYE) office booth when you arrive. Upperclass student mentors will be available to escort you around the fair to meet with the employers. If you’re nervous to speak with an employer, this is a great resource to help put your worries at ease.
