The Sociology Club

The sociology club at Salem State is a student-organized body composed of sociology majors and those with a serious interest in sociology. It is designed to provide an informal atmosphere for discussion within academic and social settings. Guest speakers, career workshops, field trips, and pertinent social issues are important areas of interest for the club. The sociology club is governed and directed by sociology students. Officers are elected in the spring of each year. A faculty advisor is also elected at that time.

Travel Opportunities

Traveling abroad offers the chance to interact with different cultures and promotes a deeper understanding of the complex world we live in. Sociology organizes spring break trips for students to engage in international travel.
