Minor in Music
A music minor is available to all non-music majors who are interested in pursuing the study of music. Entrance to the minor does not require an audition. Music minor students will have a chance to broaden their musical understanding in theory, history/literature, vocal or instrumental skills, ensemble participation, and performance abilities. In addition to their music courses, minors are required to perform in one or more department ensembles. Applied lessons for music minors are also available for a fee through the music department’s non-credit applied program.
