- Combined BS/MS bridge program in occupational therapy for OT Assistants who have obtained an associate's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited OTA program Note: Only certified occupational therapy assistants with an associate's degree from an accredited institution may apply to this program.

Accreditation and Assessment
The occupational therapy program at Salem State University is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE), the accrediting body of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). Enrolling in an accredited program provides our students with two primary assurances:
- Our program is adherent to strict ACOTE standards
- We will ensure a continued commitment to improve program standards
Accreditation also benefits potential employers knowing that our graduates have met or exceeded industry standards. In fact, a degree from an accredited institution can often be a requirement for employment.
