Presented company philosophy, discussed software products and provided software demonstrations. Developed a Customer Support Services brochure, users manual for a software product, training manual for end users and a training program to promote effective utilization of the software.

Product Management

Interim manager of marketing and sales for a software system for microcomputers at Learning Tools, Inc., Cambridge, MA, November 1982-August 1983. Responsibilities included creating promotional materials such as press releases, product announcements and marketing letters, as well as selling to OEMs, distributors and end users of the software system.

Training

A specialist in the area of human relations training. Provided training to interested professionals and others in the North Shore and Greater Boston communities at both private and public institutions in the areas of assertive techniques and behavior, effective listening and responding, communication skills and conflict resolution.

Administration/Organization

Co-chaired the programming for a state wide convention involving fourteen speakers from across the country and attended by over six hundred professionals in the field of Communication Disorders. Served as chairperson on many peer evaluation committees. President of a community organization consisting of ninety people. Founder and Executive Director of the Newton Racewalkers Association. Treasurer of the Angier School PTA, Waban, MA 1984-86. Provided consultation to health/fitness companies August 1984-February 1985. Active member of the Advisory Board of the City of Newton Human Rights Commission 1984-1987. Member of the School Improvement Council, Brown Junior High, Newton, MA September 1987 - June 1991.
