Located on the scenic North Shore just 18 miles (about 30 minutes) from Boston, Salem State is easily accessible by automobile, bus or commuter rail. Salem draws visitors each year from every corner  of the globe, enjoying one of Massachusetts' highest concentrations of historic sites, museums, cultural activities, and fine dining. Open Houses and Info Sessions

Our Open Houses are held each fall. Information sessions about specific departments are offered throughout the year.

Campus Tours

We encourage you to take a student-led tour of our campus. Tours leave from the Admissions Office located on North Campus and are by appointment only. To schedule a tour, please complete the tour registration form below. You'll be emailed a confirmation and a parking pass for the day.

If you wish to bring a group of more than 10 students, please contact Admissions at 978-542-6749 so that appropriate accommodation can be made.

Informational Interviews

Interviews are not required, but we always welcome the opportunity to speak with you about entrance requirements, majors, or any concerns you may have. If you wish to schedule an interview, you must bring a copy of your high school transcript and test scores.
