| Students transfer to SSC for
a variety of reasons: to build on an Associate's Degree; to
further education; to take advantage of our excellent academic
resources at a reasonable cost. Our goal is to provide a seamless
transition and to accommodate your individual needs.

| Admissions Requirements |

The minimum requirements do not guarantee admission. All acceptances of transfer applicants currently enrolled at other institutions are made with the condition that courses and exams will be successfully completed.
- 12 - 23 college credits with a minimum GPA of 2.5 or,
- Up to 23 college credits with a minimum GPA of 2.0 & meets minimum freshman applicant requirements or,
- 24 or more college credits with a minimum GPA of 2.0

Application Procedure
|
- A completed application [PDF 98KB]
for admission and the required application fee. ($25 for in-state
residents,
$40 for all others).
- An official transcript(s)of work completed from each college attended
as well as a list of currently enrolled courses.
- A resume or work history if no courses have been taken within 3 years.
- An official high school transcript and SAT scores are requires if
student has 1-23 credits, a GPA of less than 2.5, and has been out of
high school for 3 years or less.
- Art majors must submit an art portfolio or have an appointment with
an Art Department faculty member
