Undergraduate Admissions

Salem State College recognizes that the academic record of many students may not be a true representation of their potential. To that end, the College is committed to providing access to a quality education for those students who have the drive and desire to succeed.

Applicants who fail to meet the minimum admissions requirements can be considered for admission under SSC's Special Admission category.

Requirements

• A high school transcript if appropriate
• An official copy of an equivalency diploma
• An interview may be scheduled as part of the process

Admissions Application Deadlines

Our admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis. Applications continue to increase. To insure that your application is considered for admission, we strongly recommend that you apply early.

Fall 2008

• We are accepting freshman and transfer applications for the fall 2008 semester. Please apply as soon as possible
• We are no longer accepting applications for the Undergraduate Day Nursing Program for Fall 2008. Please apply in October 2008 for January 2009.
