Semester T-Pass Program for Students
Save 16% with a Semester T-Pass!
 The Semester T-pass is a program offered by the MBTA that allows full-time college students to purchase a semester T-pass at 11% off the regular price. In addition to the discount offered by the MBTA, Salem State will subsidize an additional 5%, resulting in a 16% savings for students who use the T regularly.
Help the Environment
Reducing the number of cars on the road reduces greenhouse gas emissions. Fewer cars also means more parking available on campus.
We'll Pick You Up
SSC runs a bus between the MBTA commuter rail station and the college from 7:00am - 6:00pm Monday through Friday. A detailed schedule of the downtown bus route is available at salemstate.edu/rideguide.
How it Works
- Choose Your Plan [PDF 34KB] (Salem is in zone 3)
- Fill out the form [PDF 62KB]
- Bring the form and full payment (check or credit card) to the CipperCard office.
- by August 6 for Fall 2008
- You'll be contacted when to pick-up your T-pass at the ClipperCard office at the start of the semester. The Fall semester's T-pass is valid from September 1 - December 31.
A minimum of twelve students must sign up
