What is Raspberry Swirl?

Raspberry Swirl started out as a "Drag Ball" an attempt to blur the line of gender and has grown beyond any of our expectations into the current day "Gender Bender" known as Raspberry Swirl. In the show we blur the line of gender to a point where it has become secondary to the entertainment provided.
Performance numbers have ranged from classic techno to a retro 80's and disco.

Now an annual tradition of the spring semester, Raspberry Swirl is one of the most anticipated events hosted by the Alliance. Along with the various performances, there are numerous fun and often inuendo-filled games (with prizes) for the audience to enjoy. The entertainment, however, is not the sole purpose of Raspberry Swirl.

The contributions that are raised from Swirl are then donated to NAGLY (the Northshore Alliance of Gay and Lesbian Youth), an organization who has helped many gay and lesbian teens find hope and acceptance in a world that is not always such.

As each spring comes anew, we hope that Swirl will be more successful, both in providing an entertaining night of fun for those who view it, and to those who benefit from the charitable donations that Swirl recieves. A great night for a great cause, what could be a more perfect occasion?
