2007 - 2008 Alliance News and Updates

Raspberry Swirl, hosted by Dani Campbell, is just around the corner! To get your tickets, you can stop by our office, Campus Center Rm. 206, during our office hours or find us in lower chartwells during dinnertime. If those times are not convenient for you, you can simply contact us via the Contact Us page to set up a time to purchase tickets.

Also, remember to check our monthly calendar for updates on other events and gen-body meetings.

We're so glad that you guys are taking part in events this semester, and hope that you still continue to come to meetings and events.

Remember those great events I was talking about a month ago? Yeah, those. They're just around the corner! I've added a couple of new pages filled with information, like an updated monthly calendar, a page with information on the Boston Gay Men's Chorus, and last but not least, a page for you to find the Intent to Perform contracts for Raspberry Swirl.

**Keep in mind that this month is filled with many events that take place during our Gen-Body meeting time, so keep an eye on the calendar for weeks that we do not have a meeting (I made sure to make note of them).**

Also, on a non-official note, you can check out Sarah's bio page to see a clip of her dancing at the AIDS Benefit Dance. It's amazing!

I think that's all I can say at this time. This semester is going to be awesome, so keep coming to the meetings and events!

The spring semester is now upon us! That means that along with all the coursework you'll be doing, there are some great events coming your way. Keep an eye on the website or come to the meetings to learn more!

If you still want to go to the True Colors Conference, please click here to get an application, or pick one up at the Alliance Office. We need to send in the complete list before January 31st, so please submit the application by the gen-body meeting on the 24th.

Not only that, but a couple of alterations have been pushed live. The prank is now uploaded on the games page, so go check it out! Sarah is now studying abroad, so our new Treasurer is Jasmine Lopez! Not only that, but the new Representative for Bowditch Hall is Angie Hampton! Congrats, you guys!

Spring semester is one of the Alliance's biggest seasons, so be sure to keep an eye out for our events. We're planning on having movie nights, interesting speakers, and Raspberry Swirl.

We will also have the video from our latest prank up on our new movie page by the end of this week. Keep your eyes on the site for new updates, as they will be happening quite frequently.

Winter break is now upon us! Good luck with finals and whatever things you need to take care of during this hectic time. Hope to see you at the Gen-body party on the 13th.

Everyone, GLBT Month is here! To learn more about the various events taking place during GLBT Month, simply click here.

Join us on Wednesday, October 24th in the Interfaith Office (room 204 of the Campus Center) at 5:30 pm to leave at 5:45 pm for the Salem Food Pantry. We should be finished by around 7:30 pm. Hope to see you all there!

Come join us from 6pm to midnight on October 22nd in Vet's Hall to watch episodes from the hit series The L Word. Chairs will be provided, but it is encouraged to bring stuff to make yourself comfortable (like blankets, pillows, or sleeping bags). Free food and drinks will be provided for the night.
