Intercollegiate
Athletics
The Salem State College Men's & Women's Intercollegiate programs are
highly respected on both the regional and national levels. The College holds
membership in the following organizations:
- National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)
- Eastern Collegiate Athletic Association (ECAC)
- New England College Athletic Conference (NECAC)
- Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC)
- New England Women's Lacrosse Alliance

Salem State College has had many of its athletic teams selected for regional
and national post-season competition and has hosted NCAA and ECAC tournaments.
Additionally, the College has captured the Smith Cup, symbolic of overall
athletic excellence within the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference,
nineteen of the thirty years that the league has been in existence. Visit
