Become a Desk Receptionist
Peabody, Bowditch, Marsh, and Atlantic Halls maintains a 24 hour/7 days a week operational front desk, while school is in session. At each desk you will be greeted by a student desk receptionist (DR). DRs help to build community by creating a welcoming enviornment greeting students as they enter the halls, these student staff can field resident concerns and provide safety and security by enforcing residental guest policy to ensure that access is only granted to residents of the hall. Students selected to serve as DRs participate in intensive training, and are highly qualified to provide support and guidance to residents.
Each desk mentioned above maintains a desk supervisor, who assists with organizing the desk schedule and overseeing general functions of the desk.
