2010 Census Survey
Next year is a census year and as part of the Census on Campus awareness campaign, Salem State College wants to help educate students and parents about the importance of completing the 2010 Census and tell you how and where to fill it out. Students are requested to fill out the census in late March/early April 2010 at their dorms and off-campus housing. Students, please advise your parents not to include you in their census response if you are away at college.
When students go uncounted, this affects the distribution of federal dollars that provide services on and near our campus and it impacts the number of representatives who speak for our students in government.
