International Student Association
The International Student Association was founded in 1989. Our mission is to foster international awareness and cultural exchange among the Salem State community and the Salem community at large.
Membership is open to all students of Salem State regardless of their cultural orientation.
Our Goal
- To be an advocate for all international students.
- To be a global resource for the entire Salem State community.
- To share unique cultures and help students discover the beauty of diversity.
- To help other international students become a part of the Salem State community and adjust more easily to potential cultural changes.
Programs and events
Teach-in Program: You can serve the college and the community by speaking to a class or group about your culture, language, and nation.
Events: The International Student Association hosts several events every year, such as:
- International Dinner
- Cultural Night
- Movie Night
- International Fair
