Student of Salem for Peace
Our aim is to increase awareness of various approaches to peace and conflict resolution, oppose war, and work for social justice. Trusting our efforts will give rise to a culture of peace at Salem State, which would be a culture of congeniality, cooperation, honesty, and respect, we pledge to further this culture of peace and stand in opposition to violence. We feel if solidarity and camaraderie prevail, then war, killing, and violence will be reduced. If a culture of peace takes root at Salem State, it will eventually further traditions of peace throughout the region, the state, and the world.
