Catholic Campus Ministry
Catholic Campus Ministry at Salem State University is sponsored by the Archdiocese of Boston so that pastoral ministry may be present to the entire Salem State community: students, staff, faculty, and administration. Opportunities are made available for all who wish to explore and nurture their faith through the engagement of their minds, hearts and hands.
Catholic Mass 6:30 pm every Sunday at St. Anne's. Shuttle bus will pick up in front of university police station on central campus at 6:15 pm. After Mass social.
STUDY AND FAITH FORMATION OPPORTUNITIES
Explore the Catholic Faith and Sacramental Preparation – First Communion and Confirmation – upon student request
Scripture Study – Monday Nights 7pm Harrington Building Cafe on South Campus. Repeated attendance and an in-depth knowledge of scripture is not required.
Other Bible Study and Faith Sharing groups are forming.
Students can become involved in local outreach, walking with the poor and learning from those they serve. Students can also explore possible spring break service/immersion trips. All of this involvement comes from a desire to live the faith not only through deeds of charity, but through works of justice.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is every Wednesday 4:30-5:30 pm in Meier Hall 222 Prayer Room
