To the Students of Salem State:
On behalf of the fifty-thousand graduates that make-up the Salem State College Alumni Association, I welcome you.
The one commonality that current students and alumni share is that we sought access to education at a first class institution. While the demographics and the physical structures of Salem State's campuses continue to change, the foundation of excellence upon which this great institution was built remains the same. As a community, Salem State is dedicated to the academic, intellectual and personal development of the individual. Immerse yourself in your education and take full advantage of the total experience.
As a student, you will be given many opportunities to prove yourself both academically and personally. I encourage you to count yourself in as a member of this fine community by participating in the academic and social groups and clubs, events and programs that are offered throughout the academic year.
This is an exciting and transformative time in your life. On behalf of the Alumni Association, I wish you the best in all that you endeavor. As alumni we recognize that it was our shared experiences during our time on campus that began what is now a lifetime relationship with the college.
