GOAL 2.

To advise the Curriculum Committee in the creation of a core curriculum that reflects the current mission statement of the SOAS and to assist SOAS departments in actively reevaluating their participation in core curriculum offerings.

Short-term Objectives:

• Working within the College Governance structure, assist the Curriculum Committee to develop a mechanism for updating the core curriculum.
• Assist the departments in actively reevaluating their participation in the core curriculum offerings.
• Infuse a multicultural perspective and recognition of diversity into core curriculum plans, as appropriate.
