SmartBoards in Teaching High School Mathematics
Description: SmartBoards and computer projection systems are changing how mathematics is being taught. With this technology in conjunction with the internet, dynamic geometry and algebra software and the TI graphing calculator, mathematics teachers have wonderful tools to help all students understand the topics being presented. This 10-hour 4-session course will link, these teaching tools in creating lessons, investigations and explorations and assessments for all levels of mathematics. Participants will be expected to create activities and field test them with their classes. These lessons will be shared with other participants with the hope of creating a learning environment that will continue after the class ends.
