Description: This workshop is designed for new and veteran teachers who are interested in investigating and creating activities that incorporate Standards-Based Activities and technology in addressing topics from Algebra through Algebra 2 for At-Risk Students. Teachers will work in teams to investigate activities available on the web and in support material provided by the presenter. Each week, various technological approaches will be presented and discussed. Time will be given to discussing lesson strategies and refining activities in progress. Guest speakers on various topics will be involved each week. The main focus is to provide rich activities for at-risk students as they prepare for the high risks tests that they need to pass.
