Salem State College Series
About the Series
Founded in 1982 as one of the first high-profile speaker series in the country, the Salem State College Series has hosted countless world leaders, artists, athletes and intellectuals on its suburban North Shore campus. Annually, more than 7,500 patrons interact with these luminaries in a setting that is remarkably accessible. An alphabetical list of Series speakers is available on this site.
A self-supporting community enrichment program, the Series is but one facet of the College's progressive public educational mission. The generous and dedicated support of corporate and individual sponsors alike has enabled the Series to prosper and grow each year.
Series lectures are held at the O'Keefe Sports Center on Canal Street in Salem. For directions to the College, please see campus maps and directions.
