Residence Hall Association
The SSC Residence Hall Association (RHA) is an organization composed of students in SSC's residence halls. As a resident student who pays the activity fee, you are automatically a member of RHA. Want to get more involved? Please call or email us, or come to a weekly meeting!
RHA provides hall government and many services, including social, recreational and educational programs, and disburses funds to Community Councils. Past efforts include recycling, improvements in dining services, and education about student depression and suicide risk. RHA represents every student residing on campus and is affiliated with the National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH).
RHA Executive Board
Executive Board members organize campus-wide events that have become SSC traditions like Haunted Happenings. Even if you're not a rep, you can volunteer for events.
Executive Board elections are held in the spring semester. The positions available include President, Vice President, 2 National Communications Coordinators, Treasurer, Secretary, and Public Relations Officer. These positions carry a term of 1 year, you must have served on the Associate Council for at least one semester and have a 2.0 cumulative GPA to be eligible. FMI, see the RHA Constitution.

Conferences
RHA attends two regional and one national conference each year. If you are interested in attending, you should contact RHA's NCC for more information. We meet our peers, exchange ideas, attend educational sessions, and have fun!
