Community Councils

Each residential area has a Community Council of elected and appointed students who represent their fellow residents' interests and organize social events. You can impact Res Life by running for election to the Council where you live!

Each Council consists of six elected posts: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and 2 RHA Representatives. Each council also has floor representatives. The councils hold open weekly meetings to discuss topics of interest to residents such as social, educational, and cultural programming, resident issues and concerns, and RHA upcoming activities.

Also, the President, Vice President, and 2 RHA Representatives attend RHA weekly meetings with the RHA Executive Board, which are held Monday nights at 7pm in the Central Campus Seminar Room. Contact your Hall Representative to find out about scheduled meeting times and available positions on your Community Council.
