Governance

Every resident at Salem State College is a member of the Residence Hall Association (RHA) and their individual Community Council. You are entitled to attend Community Council meetings in your residence hall, as well as the open meetings of the RHA. If you'd prefer to become more involved, you can run for office!

Community Councils

Each residence hall has a Community Council of elected students who represent their fellow residents' interests and organize events. Contact your Hall Representative to find out about scheduled meeting times and available positions on your Community Council.

Residence Hall Association

Every resident at Salem State College is a member of The Residence Hall Association (RHA), which brings together elected representatives of the four residence areas to address issues that affect campus life. Recently, the SSC RHA was named “National School of the Year” for 2006 by the National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH).
