Undergrad Day TTVR
Getting Ready
To complete an Undergrad Day TTVR session, you will need to have ready:
- Your 7-digit student ID number
- Your 4-digit PIN, (if you do not have a PIN, you will be asked to enter your birth date i.e., 030781 for March 7, 1981, then you will be asked to enter a new 4 digit PIN for yourself)
- The 5-digit access code given to you by your advisor and printed on your registration form.
- The 4-digit reference numbers listed in the Master Schedule, in parentheses, to the left of the section number for each course you wish to register

Forget Your PIN?
For security reasons you may wish to often change your PIN through the TTVR system. If you have forgotten your PIN, come to the Registrar's for help from:
8:30am-9:00pm, Monday-Thursday
9:30am-5:00pm on Friday
Under no circumstances may PINs be given over the phone.
TTVR System Hours
Systems are available 24/7 EXCEPT for scheduled maintenance periods:
- Noon–4:00pm, Sundays
- 6:00pm-6:00am, Thursday following the 2nd Tuesday of each month
- 6:00-8:00am, 4th Thursday of each month

TTVR Registration Instructions
- Call 978-542-8100 to activate the TTVR System

Choose from the Main Menu by pressing
(1) For billing
(2) For Registration
(3) For listing your courses
(4) For changing your PIN

At any time you can also press
*1 to go back to Main Menu
*8 to repeat the choices or
*9 to end the call

Enter your 7-digit student ID number
If you don't have your ID number, go to the Registrar's Office with a picture identification to obtain it.
- Enter your 4-digit PIN

Enter your 5-digit access code, for day classes only, given to you by your advisor.
The system will now search its records to ID you, and will read back your current mailing address. Please listen carefully and if corrections are needed, please contact the Registrar. If there are no holds, i.e. fiscal problems, with your record, you will be able to register.

From the Registration Menu of choices
Select the appropriate choice to add a course. At prompt, enter the 4-digit course reference number from Master Schedule (If there is no number, you can't register for that class via TTVR.) The system will confirm the registered course and section, or tell you why you cannot register, i.e. you haven't met the prerequisites.
Repeat process to build your schedule
Select the appropriate choice to drop a course.
When prompted, enter the 4-digit course reference number. The system will confirm the dropped course and section
- When finished, or if you lose track of your schedule, press *1 to get back to the main menu.
- If you need to hear your schedule read back to you, select the appropriate choice at the Main Menu prompt. Take care that your course schedules do not conflict as the system will not warn you of this.
- Press *9 to exit when you are satisfied with your schedule and to end the session.
- A printed confirmation of your schedule will no longer be mailed to you before the start of the semester. To access and print your class schedule please use Navigator online at: http://navigator.salemstate.edu.
- After the close of a semester, as soon as the grades are posted, you can check your grades using TTVR or Navigator.
